The primary application to use the VPN is “Cisco Secure Client” on the TRIO computers.
The client can be found on the Start menu  or in the Task Bar Tray

If the drop down appears blank, click in the drop-down menu and type: connect.trioncology.org then click “Connect”.
After the initial connection, going forward it will appear as “TRIO VPN”

Upon clicking “Connect” you will be prompted to enter your Cisco DUO MFA login, complete the sign in and the second factor push on your phone.

Once the login process is complete you will see a green check mark on AnyConnect VPN. You may now run the drive mapper or connect to TRIO network resources (file shares and remote desktop server).

Password Reset

The password reset prompt appears 2 weeks before your password expires. You can also initiate a password reset under “Need Help” and click on “Change my Password”. Please note you still need to know your current password to authenticate and initiate a password reset. If you do not know your password, please contact the service desk.

**Important Information**

After completing the password reset and establishing a VPN connection, you will need to manually synchronize the laptop’s password cache.

-          Press CTRL+ALT+Delete to show the Lock menu and select lock. Login with your new password. This will ensure your new password is now cached as your current login on your computer.

-          You will also be prompted to login to Teams and/or Outlook with the new password, along with additional second factor authentication with DUO.
