Activate Duo Mobile for the First
Time
NOTE: These instructions were made for an iPhone user, you
may find the steps slightly different for an Android
1.
When you log into a Duo secured application, you will be prompted to register
your Duo Mobile application to your TRIO password.
2.
After you hit the Get started button you should receive a prompt like the one
below. Select Duo Mobile from the list

Select the appropriate country code followed by your phone number.
4.
Click Yes, it’s correct on the phone number verification prompt.
5.
Download the Duo Mobile application to your cell phone from your phone’s app
store.
6. Once
installed Launch the Duo Mobile app.

Select Continue
7.
On the Add your account screen you will select Use a QR code and you will point
your phone’s Camera at your QR code you received during the login from the
previous steps.
8.
Select a name to describe what your account is for and select Save
9. Return
to the TRIO-login screen and sign back in again you will get a prompt to enter
the Code shown on your screen into your Duo mobile account
10.
Enter the code shown on your screen into the verification box on your mobile
phone.
11.
Select I don’t want to add more devices, click Continue.
12.
Select Log in with Duo.
13. If you are the only
user on the device, you initiated the login from select Yes this is my device
If this is a shared device select No, other people use this device.
Your Account should now be linked to your Duo Mobile
application.
14.
You may get prompted to do a Practice run of how the Duo Mobile
application will protect your account and how it works. Read and follow the
tutorial instructions on your device.
15.
You may get the following prompts:
