How to setup DUO
Mobile as the MFA Authenticator for HRIS – Sage People
Prerequisite Requirements:
1. Duo
Mobile is installed on your phone
2. Your
MFA is not set up or has been reset by HR.
Instructions:
1. Go
to the HRIS Home Page:
2. https://fs-4650--fhcm2.vf.force.com/apex/fHCM2__CollaborationPortalIndex
3. Login
with your HRIS Credentials normally

After logging in, you will be prompted to select a verification method:
5. Select
the second option: “Use verification codes from an authenticator app (such
as Google Authenticator or Authy)”
6. Click
Continue

The next screen with the QR code will appear. The next steps will be
done on the Mobile App.
* This picture is an example, do not try to use the QR Code here to register
your HRIS MFA, it will not work.
8. Open
the DUO Mobile App on your phone.
9. At
the top of the menu for the DUO Mobile app, tap on “Add+”
10. On the next screen, tap on “Use
QR Code”
11. Your camera will open, point the
camera at the QR Code on the HRIS screen.
(Do not try to use the QR Code from Step 7.)
12. Once the QR Code is scanned you
will be taken to the next screen to enter an account name for this MFA.
13. The app will automatically fill in
your email, you will need to delete that:
14. Highlight your email in the
account name and delete it, and then enter a more descriptive name, in this
case “HRIS”:
15. Tap on “Save”
16. You will now see the One Time
Password being generated for HRIS.
17. Go back to your computer where the
HRIS MFA Registration screen is and enter the current code appearing on your
phone
18. Tap Connect
19. Once successful, you may be
prompted once more to re-authenticate, login again and enter the next, one time
password.
20. You should now be logged into
HRIS. If you run into any issues, please contact the Service Desk.
